One of the strategic goals I had set when starting at IST was to align ourselves with a charity or non-profit organisation. I wanted to find a way of using our skills to give back to the wider community. 

 

Fast-forward a year to a corporate golfing day hosted by Nathan Charles: a professional rugby player who’s represented Australia as a member of the Wallabies. However, what makes Nathan’s story remarkable is that he was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at the age of three and told he wouldn’t see his tenth birthday.
 

Now at the age of 31 and in the best shape of his career, Nathan has surpassed all expectations and is the only person in the world to have been diagnosed with CF and gone on to play a contact sport professionally.   Recently Nathan has been appointed as the Ambassador for Cystic Fibrosis and is continuing to inspire others and raise the awareness of CF.
